Dangerous Conditions a Factor in Bus Crash

The crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. and according to the article, the accident occurred while the interstate was experiencing icy and slick conditions. The driver of the bus at the time of the crash, Alberto Torres, was ticketed by the police for careless driving causing bodily injury after he lost control of the vehicle which slid off the road as a result.

Multiple Injuries

49 people including Mr. Torres were involved in the accident, with at least 6 people suffering critical injuries. The crash involves an El Paso-based autobus company, Los Paisanos, which is where the bus began its journey with its intended destination being Denver, Colorado.
