A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car on Monday, January 27, 2020. A report on the incident from CBS 4 News notes the accident occurred in Aurora.
Aurora Hit and Run Fatality
According to the Twitter feed for the Aurora Police Department (APD), the hit and run were in the early morning around 6 a.m. Police are currently looking for a 1997-2003 maroon Chevy Malibu that is suspected to be the type of vehicle involved in the accident. The incident reportedly transpired at the intersection of Peoria Street and 17th Avenue. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the APD.
