Meet a Team Member Monday: Mavjuda Rassel

In this week’s “Meet a Member Monday”, we have the pleasure of interviewing Mavjuda Rassel, one of our Workers’ Compensation paralegals. She has been a great addition to our work family and are so excited to introduce you all to her!

I have been with Boesen Law since July 6, 2020.

My favorite memory at Boesen Law has been “Happy Days.” Once a month, all the employees gather together to celebrate each other and their accomplishments.

3. What drew you to wanting to work in the legal field?

In high school, I was a member of the Mock Trial Club. We had to work through witness testimonies as well as police evidence to piece the story of what really occurred together. I fell in love with the challenge. Since then, I knew I wanted a career in the legal field.

4. What do you like most about working in your position and why?

I love keeping in contact with all of my clients and ensure they feel supported through what might feel like the worst time of their life. I find it important to build relationships with every client and make them feel as though they are your only client.

5. How would your friends describe you?

My friends would describe me as organized, energetic, resourceful, and loyal.

6. What do you like to do in your free time?

During my free time, I like to go on runs, travel, read, hike, workout, and spend time with my friends and family.

7. Favorite food?

My favorite food is any type of Indian Food.

8. Favorite TV show/ movie?

10. Who is your hero?

My mother is my hero. Her selflessness, courage, sacrifices, and support have made me the woman I am today.

11. Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

In the next five years, I see myself completing law school and beginning my career as an attorney.

12. What are your hobbies?

My hobbies include traveling, reading, hiking, playing tennis, camping, exercising, and cooking.

13. What is a career highlight you’re most proud of?

I am most proud of my work as a paralegal. I love interacting with individuals, legal research, and working side-by-side with my attorney to ensure our clients get the representation they deserve.

14.What career advice would you give to your younger self?

One piece of advice I would give my younger self would be to enjoy the process. Celebrate small achievements that lead to your greater goal.

15. What is one work-related thing you want to accomplish in the next year?

One work-related thing I want to accomplish this year is to improve my efficiency in multitasking.
