1 Individual Hurt in I-76 Crash

A three-car accident occurred early this Wednesday morning January 22, 2020. The location of the crash was Interstate 76 going westbound near the junction of Interstate 25 and 270.

Two I-76 Lanes Shut Down

A news report from ABC Denver 7 notes the crash happening at around 6:10 a.m. Two vehicles as well as a disposal truck were involved in the accident, with Adams County Fire and Rescue  (ACFR) responding. At least one person is being treated for injuries at a hospital. Diesel fuel leaked onto the road requiring ACFR to clean up the spill.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing at this time. Two lanes on I-76 were closed for a period of time while the crash was being cleaned up. As of around 7:30 a.m., the lanes were reported to be open again.
